What is this Site About ?
Questions like that are bothering people all the time. That is why we
have decided to create this informational portal to present you all the features and services that you will be able to find on the Web. We try to explain every possible aspect of the most used services plus giving you the most extensive information that you might be interested in.
What is named "surfing the web" is clicking from
one page to another - from hypertext link to hypertext link. You
can go on an adventure without end from web one page to another web page, turning back at any time or just going off.
To access the World Wide Web all that you need is a computer, a modem device, a phone line, and software called a "Internet browser"... and of course an account
with an Internet Provider. The browser itself is a very
simple piece of software and what it does is to interpret a computer code called
HTML - or hypertext markup language. All pages are written
in HTML - the browser just interprets the HTML's instructions
to be able to display the text, all pictures, play sounds or just run animation. The
two most popular browsers today are Microsoft Internet Explorer and Mozilla FireFox. Not long ago Netscape was the second best browser, but during the recent years Firefox went far ahead.
